What is this? A newspaper for ants?

Donald Trump, on the New York Times:

“They don’t write good. They have people over there, like Maggie Haberman and others, they don’t — they don’t write good,” he said. “They don’t know how to write good.”

The Gray Lady will henceforth be known as The Donald Trump Center For Newspapers Who Can’t Write Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too.

Guilt by association

Just a reminder: a significant portion of Trump’s supporters:

  • Support the WWII internment of Japanese Americans, and
  • Believe whites are a “superior race”

They oppose:

  • The desegregation of the United States military (in 1948) and
  • The emancipation of slaves by Lincoln (in 1863).

As we try to understand Trump’s popularity, Occam’s Razor postulates that the simplest explanation is usually correct. Given the above political views of Trump voters, the most logical explanation is the Trump possesses a secret time machine and is importing voters from America’s past.
